Zumba combines aerobic exercise with dance moves that focus on specific muscle groups. You can expect to burn calories as you tone up. Zumba dance routines alternate between fast and slow rhythms to give you a great cardiovascular workout. But the best part is, it’s FUN. The hour flies by and you don’t even realize your working out! The classes being offered at the Flying Lotus are moderate intensity classes with mostly Latin Rhythms and some good old Rock and Roll. Make sure you bring comfortable dance shoes (sneakers), a bottle of water, and a sweat towel!
